Tarangire National Park

Elephants, Baobabs & Classic Safari Beauty

Often overlooked but never forgotten, Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s hidden safari gems. Just a 2-hour drive from Arusha, this park is best known for its massive elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife in large numbers during the dry season.

Top Things to Do in Tarangire

Tarangire boasts a rich diversity of animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and more than 550 bird species — making it a paradise for photographers and nature lovers alike.
