Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, a Tobiko Adventure representative will meet you and transfer you to your lodge or camp in Arusha. Use this time to relax and get ready for your upcoming safari.

After breakfast, your professional safari guide will pick you up for the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours). This park is known for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse wildlife along the Tarangire River.
Expect sightings of zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffalo, and predators like lions and leopards. After a full day of game viewing and a picnic lunch, you’ll continue to the Karatu area for a relaxing evening.

Today starts early as you head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the 600-meter-deep Ngorongoro Crater, home to over 25,000 animals — including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, and more than 500 bird species.
After a thrilling game drive and picnic lunch in the crater, return to Arusha by early evening. Your safari ends here, or we can assist with onward arrangements.
